Our Resource Teacher, Nathan Saucedo

Dear Oak Park Families,

It is my pleasure to take this time and introduce myself as your new In-School Resource Teacher. My name is Nathan Saucedo and I am thrilled to join the wonderful Oak Park staff.

I am proud to say that I am a product of the San Diego Unified School District, having graduated from San Diego High in 2003. After high school, I attended San Diego State University, where I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Sociology. I continued my studies at SDSU and received my Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential and Master’s in Education in Educational Leadership.

I began my teaching career at Fulton K8, a school in the Skyline area of San Diego, and had the privilege of teaching students from grades 4-6. My time in the classroom has greatly prepared me to help the students at Oak Park to become successful learners. As the In-School Resource teacher, my job will consist of helping students refine their learning techniques, and in collaboration with the amazing teachers and staff, help all students become successful in their learning. Working collaboratively with teachers, staff, parents, and students, we will work towards equipping all Oak Park students with the necessary tools to achieve excellence.

My job is to assist you and your student to be as successful as possible, meeting and exceeding grade-level expectations. If there is anything I can do to assist you or your child in any way, with the goal of helping to improve their academics, citizenship, or social-emotional health, please don’t hesitate to call or email me.

I look forward to working with your student and meeting you personally very soon! Please reach out whenever you see me around campus! Stay safe.
