ABOUT

Oak Park Elementary

Music & Media Arts Magnet

Oak Park Elementary is a unique and inspiring place for children, where our rich ethnic and cultural diversity is celebrated as a strength. Every child and their family is valued, fostering a welcoming community. Teachers utilize assessments and data to design a rigorous, standards-based instructional program that is both challenging and engaging, ensuring that all students are motivated to excel. High academic and behavioral expectations are set for every student. As part of our comprehensive music education, all students receive instruction in band, orchestra, keyboard lab, guitar, and chorus. Our credentialed music teachers offer progressive and enriching learning experiences. Additionally, media arts is integrated into the curriculum, empowering students to become both thoughtful consumers and creative producers of media.
