Dear Oak Park Families,
I am thrilled to be joining the Oak Park family as your new Associate Principal. I am looking forward to getting to know all of our Oak Park educators, students, and families and am confident that we have an exciting year filled with growth, learning, and memorable experiences ahead of us. I am a San Diego Native and proud product of the San Diego Unified School District. I attended San Diego State University for my Undergraduate and Graduate work. I have been an educator in our district for over 23 years. I have had the privilege of being a classroom teacher, literacy coach, Instructional Coordinator, and now Associate Principal in San Diego Unified.
My primary goal is to be a resource and support for educators, students, and families. This includes being available to share highlights and celebrations from our educators and students, as well as to answer any questions you may have.
As we embark on this new school year, I am committed to working together with you to support our students’ academic and personal growth. This includes getting to know your students’ strengths, interests, and unique talents. As you know, your involvement and partnership are vital to creating a positive and enriching educational experience for your child. I am excited to join you this year and am looking forward to our collaboration in service of your students’ education and social/emotional wellness.
